01.04.2014 - 01.04.2014
Place: Lebanon
Like every year and since 28 years, “Libano-Suisse, Insurance Company” honored four graduates from “Higher Institute of Insurance Studies”, ISSA-USJ, and offered them awards and shields in the name of its founder, the late Pierre Sehnaoui, in his honor and in loyalty to his various services in the insurance field. A ceremony was held in the presence of the institute Director Dr. Melhem El-Kik, General Manager of “Libano-Suisse” Mr. Lucien Letayf, President of the Association of Lebanese Insurance Companies (ACAL), Mr. Assaad Mirza as well as two management teams from ISSA and Libano-Suisse. What was special about this honoring this year is that Rector of Saint Joseph University, Father Salim Daccache participated in this event, this signifies that there was a big cooperation between the institute and the company for the benefit of the graduates who often receive care and support from “Libano-Suisse” and from its General Manager Lucien Letayf in particular who previously taught in the said institute.
The ceremony included speeches delivered by Director of the institute, General Manager of “Libano-Suisse”, Rector of St. Joseph University Father Salim Daccache who hoped that this cooperation continues and grows for the interest of everyone.
The honored students were the following: Farah Safsouf (2011 graduate), Rami Jarjoura (2011 graduate who presumed his studies only by hearing not visually because of an accident that made him lose his sight), Tania El Masri (2012 graduate) and Larissa Esber (2013 graduate). After presenting the awards and shields, there was a cocktail reception attended by the former institute Director Lawyer Nady Jazzar after having spent 12 years as director.
It is noteworthy that “Libano-Suisse” is putting its capabilities at the service of the graduates knowing that they will manage the insurance sector in the future; this was expressed by Mr. Lucien Letayf in his speech. This service is not only limited to honoring the outstanding students, but includes many aspects such as training the one who wishes to before and after the graduation in an attempt to provide job opportunities for these graduates as much as possible.
