On January 1, 2019, Libano-Suisse officially announced the launch of the Libano-Suisse Chess Club, a new initiative for employees and their families, which is supported and encouraged by Libano-Suisse CEO Mr Lucien Letayf.
The club offers free classes and games sessions every Thursday from 5pm to 7pm at the Libano-Suisse premises in Cite Dora, Bloc 3.
Managed by Mr. Elie Asmar, the club welcomes any employee as well as members of their direct family aged 12 and above.
The initiative is designed to provide a social activity that is also a great exercise for the mind and for the development of many useful life skills. Attendees of the first Libano-Suisse Chess Club class on January 31 were Bilal Badran, Charbel Dib, Charbel Rahme, Dib Nasr, Joseph Chedid, Nadine Bou Nassif, and Nassim Sakr.
